“IX. National Inorganic Chemistry Congress” will be organized by Hacettepe University Chemistry Department in Ankara on May 16-19, 2024. We feel happy and proud of inviting you to this traditional congress, which will be held in Ankara, our capital, on the centenary of our Republic.

Advances in basic sciences and technology have led to dramatic developments in synthetic and applied Inorganic Chemistry that will guide the future. The discovery of new molecules and materials that are “more efficient, cleaner and cheaper” that can be used in the fields of “energy, catalysis, biology-medicine”, especially on our planet where there are about 100.000 inorganic compounds, will play an important role in achieving a sustainable future. For this purpose; the scientists and practitioners working on “coordination chemistry, supramolecular compounds, organometallic chemistry, catalysis, reaction mechanisms, energy and photochemistry, bio-inorganic chemistry and metallic enzymes, solid state chemistry, inorganic-organic materials” will come together and discuss the latest developments and introduce the new trends on the platform to be created within the scope of our Congress.

It is expected that the distinguished speakers with international recognition who will be invited from abroad and domestically to our congress, where there will be international participation, will provide important information transfers, especially to young academics, researchers and students. The cooperation opportunities that will arise in various fields with the contribution of industry and company representatives will also encourage scientific developments. The Congress presentation languages are Turkish and English, participation will be in the form of oral and poster presentations. Anıtkabir and Ankara Anatolian Civilizations Museum visits will be organized within the scope of social activities at the Congress.

We wish our congress to be useful and successful in scientific and social terms. We thank you in advance for your support. We wish to meet you in Ankara and we offer our respects.
